Tatoos and Body modification

This lecture for me wasn't good becuse i find body modification really creepy some people really do disgustine things however tatoots is popular you see celebrities have tatoots for example David Beckham the reason people get them done is to look good sometimes people go over the top. Tattoos are a very old form of body art and have been practiced from a very long time in civilized human history. The history of tattoos is very ancient and seems to be of thousands of years old and even before the birth of Christ. The recorded indication of tattoos comes from the ancient Egypt where wall paintings as old as 2000 BC have been suggesting the use of tattoos in the ancient Egyptian society.

i don't really get why people go through tatooting it just disgustine i know a person who tatoo his life partner name and today they are not togthere so there no point, the picture i have shown it just looks very disgusting it also looks horrible.

Body modificaton is also done too look different that can contain surgery or desgining your body also anorexica is seen as body modification because it is changing the way you look. in islam it is not allowed because the body is desgined by God. its become more common and acceptable in soceity.

infidelity

I consider this as very very bad behaviour. infidelity can mean allot of things like cheating on your wife in a marriage, it can also mean having an affair, being unfaithful, playing around etc etc. you see celebrity who cheat in marriages like Ashley Cole. i think that people who commit infidelity don't think that they will get caught! but the main reason is why do people commit infidelity, well i do have some reason in mind:

. a person might be bored of their relationship

. jealousy

. lost interest

. want to have fun

there could be so many reasons

so may things can be counted as infidelity, when looked at the presentation it got me thinking! i believe that a person who cheats or has an affair can be trusted but is it same for women who sleep around??

infidelity can be a form of lying for example, a guy might have a girlfriend and says to her that she is the one etc but than he say to another girl the same thing! it does cause a form of lying. Also if a person is married an has an affair that is worse, because marriage is about being faithful etc deceiving in a marriage is bad

why do people cheat?

The first explanation is probably the most well known: Spouses cheat because of problems in their relationship - something is missing, passion has faded, partners feel lonely, people find someone who treats them better or who appreciates them more than their current spouse, and so on. the majority of cheaters are man this is because they are unfaithful and they get bored easily and cannot control sexual desires.

i watched the video tape on sex, lies and videotape and the message that i got was that people choose whether to commit infidelity and this is due to reason to why they are doing it like problems in relationship, marriage not working, both couples want different things etc

Annette Lawson is saying that most majority of women have their way around in marriages and get what they really want like adultery can give women power!

this can agreed and be disagreed, yes it can give women control but some women don't have the courage to be so strong if they found out that their husband's been having affair might just get week

i believe that mostly women can be affected by infidelity and children if it is a marriage. it is mostly women who are affected when men be unfaithful and cheat in some cases women and men can be forced to marry and that could be reason to why they commit infidelity

well infidelity is seen as bad behaviour also as an betrayal . in conclusion it is bad to cheat or have an affair and it shouldn't be happening!

It is true dad bad video games can cause bad behaviour exactly a lot of things can cause bad behaviour like jealously or someone trying to get attention. the article was very interesting never taught that chocolate and sweets can cause bad behaviour

i believe that shoplifting is very bad no one has the right to steal from each other and your right most parents teach their kids that shoplifting is wrong. it does cause more problems by stealing nothing is solved once you start to steal it will become a habit. obviously people will get caught!

Using DRUGS are really bad can because you so much problems for example drugs like weed, cannabis etc are so expensive. Everyone takes drugs. Doctors give you drugs for pain relief! but why do people take drugs? Maybe it feels good and cool! Using drugs can really mess you up from the inside and outside! Just look at the picture of the lady she looks messed up!

Peer pressure, to join in with others and belong to a ‘special’ group.

Bad Cinema

I love watching films especially thriller/ Horror films. Well you get bad cinema in a while you do have some bad films which are totally you know what i mean but most movie's are not that bad. well if there is a really bad film than that will be a certificate 18. some people enjoy watching bad cinema they might not see it as bad.

heya! i believe that everyone lies whether its for a good reason or bad.i know that i have lied a couple of times to protect my brother or my friend. When we were young we were told lying is wrong. Some people lie for a good reason and some people just lie because that's what they do. there are many reason to why people lie i guess!

Well i dont know what to say about this topic. In presentation we looked at the term of masturbation which i could say was interesting the word itself has quite a lot of meanings. then we looked at the history, for example in the ancient world, depictions of male masturbation are relatively common. The Egyptians, for example celebrated masturbation as the process by which the sun god, Atum, created the first Adam. i agree with you that smoking is really bad but if someone has started to smoke from a young age it will be hard for them to stop they will have a strong addiction. yep smoking can harm you in may ways i have looked at the link it was very good i try hard when it comes to my uncle try to make him stop smoking but its hard he is addicted and started from the age of 14!

By watching the video on The science of lying was very interesting. there are many reasons for why people lie about different things. I used to think that people tell lies to feel good about themselves. To tell you the truth i don't know why people tell lies. I think that the worse feeling is when someone is lying to you or you are guilty of doing something wrong and on top your telling lies to save yourself. All i can say that there can be many reasons for why people tell lies its a lot to think about.

bad behaviour

this presentation got me thinking about bad behaviour. i think that shoplifting is bas behaviour its not good to steal people even shoplift when they have money. its up to the person to decide whether to be bad or not you have the free will to decide whether to be bad. young people can be influenced to be bad by games, celebrities, bad films etc. some people could be bad because its fun they want to impress people. there are many reasons for why people want to be bad. in my opinion i think that prostitution is being bad but other people may not see it as being bad i is not socially respectable. there could be many causes of bad behaviour like:

Family or lack of family upbringing. Dysfunctional families. Peer pressure. Lack of respect for elders and those in authority. Lack of respect from those in authority towards the students. There are many factors that are against the youth of today. Many are looked down upon and told that they are no good and will never belong. When this happens, there are others that will come alongside and give them a place to belong. Gangs are filled with youth that need to belong because either their family has not given them any attention or there is no authority figure that cares enough to show them love and a sense of belonging.

by looking at the prsentation on smoking i have understood why some people choose to smoke because it makes them look cool . indviduals have the freedom to choose to smoke mostly people smoke for enjoyment. smoking has its risk to by smoking you can inherted alot of disease or cancer at the end of the day it is up to the person smoking can kill you
